What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps small pieces of information on your device.
What we use
- Essential storage: a record of your cookie choice, so we do not ask you on every visit. This is kept in your browser's local storage.
- Analytics: only if you accept, we may use privacy-friendly, aggregated statistics to understand which pages are read. No advertising cookies are used.
The contact note composer does not use cookies and does not store what you type.
Your choices
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the consent prompt shown on your first visit. You can also clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings, which will reset your choice. Guidance for common browsers is available from their help pages, and general information is published by the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
